Surgical Laser
Surgical Lasers are a minimally invasive alternative to traditional surgery. Lasers replace scalpels in many procedures, and are useful for a wide range of conditions, such as cyst, tumor, and wart removal, and can even be used in declawing. Laser procedures result in less pain; less bleeding and less swelling. They reduce risk of infection and result in less post-operative discomfort.
Therapy Laser
In addition to the surgical laser, Pioneer Veterinary Clinic also offers a therapy laser that can be used to decrease pain and inflammation as well as promote wound healing. The therapy laser has many applications and is convenient to use. Most treatments take between 10-30 minutes and no sedation or anesthesia is required. Some of the common ailments it can be used to treat are: arthritis, acute and chronic pain, back injuries, sprains and strains, inflammation and edema, and wound healing.
