Canine rehabilitation is relatively new to veterinary medicine although physical therapy for humans has been around for decades. The basic human physical therapy principles and techniques can be applied to our veterinary patients. Modalities used in our rehabilitation program include Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation, therapeutic LASER, acupuncture and treadmill.
Dr. Jesyka Morrison and veterinary technician Michelle Karstetter are both certified in canine rehabilitation through the Canine Rehabilitation Institute (CRI). Veterinary Assistant Tory is also involved with our canine rehab program. They are all very excited about the endless possibilities that service has to offer.
